Reference surfaces on the base plates
The standard Delphin base plates feature a reference bore at the
centre of the base plate. It can be used to orientate the base plate
approximately to the centre (± 0.025 mm).
Subsequent alignment at
an angle uses a reference surface on the rear side.
As soon as the
base plate has been approximately orien-tated, the base plate can be
aligned precisely using the conical centring lugs of the chucks.
