GF Machining Solutions has announced that it will expand distribution channels and regional sales to further invest in its capability to deliver advanced manufacturing technology to customers throughout North America. Two distributors, Marcus Machinery and Midwest Machinery Solutions, have expanded their reach to key manufacturing sectors in the United States, while GF Machining Solutions has taken over direct sales in Canada with a new sales manager, Sean Smith.

Marcus Machinery, a Pennsylvania-based distributor of European machine tools and automation systems, has expanded their distribution for GF Machining Solutions from Western Pennsylvania to now include all of Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and DC and West Virginia. A specialist in supporting the work of research and development organizations and academic institutions in addition to traditional manufacturers, Marcus Machinery is a family owned business overseen by Mark A. Henne, his son, Nathan M. Henne and daughter Shannon M. Anglero.

Midwest Machinery Solutions, formerly the exclusive GF Machining Solutions distributor for northern Illinois, will now take over distribution across the entire state. From its headquarters in Round Lake Beach, Illinois, the distributor will provide manufacturers throughout the state with exceptional CNC and EDM machine technology, as well as System 3R Automation solutions, punch/die tooling systems, certified consumables, and original wear parts from AgieCharmilles.

GF Machining Solutions will now directly oversee sales in Canada under the direction of Sales Manager Sean Smith. A former CNC machinist in the mold and die industry, Smith has spent nearly 20 years as a manufacturing-industry distributor in Ontario. He previously served as the product manager for GF Machining Solutions at Machine Tool Systems Inc. in Mississauga, Ontario, and at Elliott Matsuura in Oakville, Ontario.
