Centring free of play

One special feature in relation to modular equipping of the machine tables is the option for arrangement and number of chucks. Regardless of the requirements of the application, you determine the quantity and the particular centre distance with which you wish to equip the machine table.
Our recommendation: use at least 4 chucks per workpiece or work with pallets.

The drawbars are mounted directly in the device or workpiece. Centring of the conical face of the centring and compensating drawbars free of play achieves maximum accuracy.

The centre distance

The centre distance is the centre-to-centre distance between the relevant chucks. The recommended centre distance is the default centre distance of 250 mm or 200 mm (with HCP also 100 mm are possible).

A centre distance in X or Y direction should be selected quadratically. This offers the advantage that, for instance, a device or workpiece can be indexed in the case of machining operations on a 3-axle machine.
