Safety at work

At GF Machining Solutions, safety is a priority. As part of the GF sustainability framework 2025, we commit to reduce the accident rate by 30% when compared to the 2018-2020 baseline. We will achieve this target with the help of our constantly evolving safety management systems and standards, as well as conducting safety trainings and campaigns. We execute internal and external safety audits at regular intervals, thorough accident and near-miss reporting, and share best-practices across production sites as well as other locations.

Diversity and inclusion

We aim at fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment, in which inspiration, collaboration and innovation thrive and empower our employees.

GF launched four internal programs to support this objective:

  • Unconscious bias initiative
  • Women in leadership
  • Networking events
  • Employer attractiveness campaign targeting women

Today the percentage of women within management positions at GF is 16%.

Our goal is to reach 25% of newly appointed female managers by 2025.
